I’m Tânia Lima, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to Cakes Designs 3NL. Here, we create beautiful, tall cakes that are as delightful to the eyes as they are to the taste buds. It’s truly amazing to transform simple, quality ingredients into something so beautiful and delicious.


Our Journey


My husband and I started this business with one mission: to bring unique and irresistible cakes to your table. We believe in cakes that make you crave for more, even when there’s none left. Our love for travel has led us to draw inspiration from the rich flavours of our heritage, which you won’t find anywhere else in England. Though I’m grateful for the chance to explore this beautiful country, I can’t help but miss the two wonderful places that shaped me. 

Traveling is not just about seeing new places, it’s about creating connections and experiencing the world in new ways. And we encourage everyone to travel and make memories that last a lifetime.

I have a deep passion for baking (and I’m told I’m quite good at it!), and together with my husband, we ensure that only the finest ingredients go into every cake we make. Our chocolate cakes are rich and creamy, while our vanilla cakes are soft yet flavorful.

We aspire to make cakes so exceptional that people will savour every bit of it, people will order it simply because they want to enjoy it, outside special dates, especially our cherished and beloved Grandma Cakes selection, these are cakes that need no presentation, they are as natural as it can be, they are as similar as possible to what all Grandmas used to do, from one corner of the globe to the other.

I lead our culinary vision and personally craft uniquely inspired Gourmet Quality Cakes. Every creation is a blend of art and passion, designed to captivate the senses and leave our Gourmet Lovers with unforgettable flavour experiences. From conceptualizing innovative designs to meticulously handcrafting each cake, I ensure that every masterpiece reflects our commitment to quality and the rich cultural tapestry that defines our bakery.

CFO 

I oversee the financial strategy and operations of our family run bakery, ensuring sustainable growth while delivering Gourmet Quality Cakes. Working behind the scenes, I ensure that our financial strategy aligns with our passion for crafting uniquely inspired, Gourmet Cakes. My role is all about supporting our creative vision, supporting the creation of unforgettable flavours and solidifying the foundation that lets us deliver memorable, high-quality experiences to all Gourmet Lovers.
